Correctional Service Week 2024

The Ministry of Interior and National Administration, through the State Department for Correctional Services, inaugurated the Correctional Service Week 2024 at the Edge Convention Centre from October 22nd to 24th. The theme for this year is "Mental Health and Wellness for Effective Service Delivery." This initiative underscores the critical importance of mental health within correctional services, highlighting its impact on both personnel and the populations they serve.

Objectives:
1.    Promote Mental Health Awareness: The focus on mental health during Correctional Service Week resonates with our objective to raise awareness about mental health issues.
